Rounding differences in the monthly calendar 4.0

If you're using the Monthly Calendar 4.0 in 123erfasst, you may notice rounding differences between the value in the bottom-right corner of the time account and the target/actual comparison.
In this article, we explain where these differences come from and how you should handle them.
Note: Rounding differences can only occur if you display the Monthly Calendar 4.0 in industrial hours. The standard hour format is not affected.

Suppose one of your employees logs 14 minutes of time.
In the industrial hour format, 14 minutes are displayed as 0.2333333333 hours.
In the monthly calendar, we truncate the values to two decimal places to keep the display clear. Consequently, 0.23 hours are displayed.
If, for example, 14 minutes of time are recorded on multiple days, one decimal place is dropped after two entries at the latest.
0.2333333333 + 0.233333333 = 0.46666666666 -> rounded to 0.47 hours.
However, the visible times are summed as 0.23 + 0.23 = 0.46. This is intentional. In the time account at the bottom right, however, the rounded 0.47 hours are now displayed.
The calculation is therefore performed using the correct values, but the display of the decimal places may vary due to the procedure described.
