Here, a new time block is created for the scanning employee on the construction site and for the activity specified in the previous time block. If the employee has never logged time, the default construction site and activity specified in the company settings are selected here. If you want to log time for a different construction site, you must use the "Switch" button.
Log Out
Here, the end of the previous time block is set to the logout time, and all time blocks for the workday are ended with "End of Shift."
Switch
Use "Switch" to log in to a different construction site. After scanning the chip, the employee is presented with a list of construction sites to choose from. A maximum of 20 construction sites are displayed. The list is sorted in ascending alphabetical order. Which construction sites are displayed is controlled in Role Management (under the "Time Tracking" tab in "Mobile / Web Entry," select the "Construction Site Selection" option). Additionally, the construction sites to which the employee has been scheduled for the day are displayed. These appear at the very top of the selection list.
Synchronize
Clicking this button manually synchronizes the terminal. However, previously recorded entries are synchronized first.
General
Synchronization
The terminal synchronizes automatically once a day. If a change is made in the office, the terminal retrieves the new data. The following changes are taken into account (employees are only those with an assigned chip):
- Changes to an employee
- Adjustment of roles assigned to an employee
- Creation/modification of schedules for an employee
Settings that affect the creation of employee times:
- Rounding of clock-ins according to settings in the role and the specified interval
- Automatically recording breaks based on the settings in the new work schedules
- Default job site and activity in company settings for logins without prior entry
