Synchronization of data entered in 123

Data synchronization in 123erfasst is limited by design. You can read here about which data is synchronized across different devices and why not all data is visible everywhere.
The system distinguishes between two types of data:
Master data
Entry data
The synchronization of these data types works differently within the system.
Master data: basic and independent data
Master data in 123erfasst refers to basic data stored in the system that can be created and modified by the administrator. Master data is typically created once per instance and rarely changed. Creating master data—such as employees, activities, and projects—is a prerequisite for working with 123erfasst.
Entry data: project-related and activity-related data
Entry data consists of all information that is recorded, modified, and assigned as needed in day-to-day operations. The entry, collection, and storage of entry data occur continuously, for example, through the logging of working hours or materials on the construction site. Entry data can be created by all employees of the company, provided they have the necessary authorization.
Data synchronization
The two data types are subject to different synchronization processes. Master data is rarely changed and must always be available to all users for 123erfasst to function properly. Therefore, synchronization of master data is essential for working with 123erfasst.
We want to ensure the smooth operation of 123erfasst. Synchronizing entry data can lead to complex conflicts, which means the secure use of 123erfasst cannot be guaranteed. To avoid errors during data entry, synchronization of entry data is not currently planned.
What does the future hold?
We are constantly working to optimize our products and regularly assess whether synchronizing all data can be implemented while ensuring the safe use of 123erfasst. At the same time, we want to ensure that data entry is carried out without errors.
