Similar tasks can be grouped together into categories known as task types. These task types simplify the selection and assignment of tasks when creating projects.

To create a new activity type, navigate to More -> Admin -> Personnel -> Activity Types in the menu and click + Activity Type.

In the entry form, you can then specify an ID, a name, and optionally a color for the activity type.

In the Activities section, assign all activities related to this type.

When assigning activities to a project, you can now filter by activity type. As you type the name, the matching activities will be displayed, and you can select them either all together or individually.

You can also use this procedure, for example, when recording employee hours in the Office.
